Ultimate Star is back in Billa 2007

'Billa 2007', an Ajith extravaganza along with the sizzling lady leads Namitha and Nayantara, is a remake of the Rajinikanth-Sripriya starrer 'Billa' from the eighties. The current version, a hybrid is apparently packed with more style, effects plus contemporary modifications in the theme.

Ajith Kumar commonly know as Ultimate Star, also called as Thala(Leader) by his fans has taken the role of Billa after getting inspiration from Super Star Rajinikanth. The audio of Billa got released few days back. Nearly 20,000 audio CDs were up for sale on the day of the release. This marks the second-highest opening day music sales, the highest being for Sivaji - the Boss. For an Ajith movie, this is the biggest first day music sales recorded till date!

Known as the King of Openings when it comes to his movies, this audio sales record makes Ajith even more a King now! Every shop in Chennai that stocked the Audio CD, was soon out of stock and had to send messages to the producers for more CDs. After seeing the audio sales, the Billa team as well as Ajith's fans are waiting eagerly for the auspicious day December 14, to see their Thala on the screen.

Ajith is a well known Formula 3 racer for BMW and not only racing he has proved that he is one among the best actor of this time with his awsome performance in the movie 'Varularu' (The God Father). The movie is taken in a stylish way. This is the first time they have concentrated on the costumes of the actors acting in the supporting role also.The trailer alone proves the class of the movie.

The movie is releasing on December 14, 2007 all over the world. The Billa fever had already started in cities like Chennai, Bangalore, etc.
